     9th Wave Gallery is a collection of contemporary artists incorporating everything from Zen Surrealism to Hawaiian Surf Art.  It includes artists from around the world collaborating together in a new media, format, and style of gallery to accomplish a unique goal together.  Our goal is to promote the group and their individual efforts through cutting edge art, while spreading the message of Aloha, and making a positive difference in the world we all live in.

     Started on March 9th,2011 it’s beginnings were marked immediately by a historic moment and event.  Referred to on ancient calendars as “The 9th Wave” this moment was heralded in with the 9.0 Earthquake in Japan on March 11th 2011 , followed by a Tsunami that instantly changed the world as we know it.  The importance of these events being tied to the birth of the company was not an irony ever lost on it’s founders.

     9th Wave Gallery has chosen to partner with charities like Volcom Japan’s “Embrace Recovery” Foundation. and continues it’s efforts to raise money and awareness for Japan and it’s victims since.

     9th Wave Gallery has recently become a brand recognized internationally while being located on the remote island of Oahu Hawaii since it’s inception.  As a comapany our mission is to adhere to the “Keep it Local“ and “Made in Hawaii” feeling while including people, cultures, and artists from around the world.

     With so much accomplished in it’s first year... the future is something that looks brighter everyday...
